The manual override has one or two positions, depending on the valve design.
Each side is operated individually.
With 2x 3/2 directional valves, both sides can be activated simultaneously.
The manual override will be damaged if it is operated improperly or with ex-
cessive force.
1. Exercise care and caution when actuating the manual override.
2. Observe the following information for operation.
The manual override is available in two variants:
• Manual override with with yellow control button: with detent.
• Manual override with with red control button: self-resetting.
7.2.1 Operating the yellow control button (A)
Push and detent
1. Press the control button from the Push position to the desired switching posi-
tion. Lock the control button by turning it clockwise.
ð The valve switches.
2. Turn the control button counterclockwise until it automatically returns to the
Push position.
ð The valve then also switches back to position 0 or locks in the desired posi-
tion, depending on its design.
7.2.2 Operating the red control button (B)
Tap
1. Press the control button downwards.
ð The valve switches.
2. When you release the control button, it will automatically reset to the Push
position.
ð The valve then also switches back to position 0 or locks in the desired posi-
tion, depending on its design.
8 Service and Repairs
Applied electric voltage and high pressure!
Danger of injury from electric shocks and sudden pressure drops.
Make sure the system is not pressurized or connected to power before car-
u
rying out any service or maintenance work.
8.1 Component care
Solvents and aggressive cleaning agents!
The surfaces and seals could be damaged by aggressive solvents and cleaning
agents.
Never use aggressive solvents or detergents.
u
Regularly clean the device with a damp cloth. Only use water or a mild clean-
u
ing agent.
8.2 Component maintenance

9 Disassembly and Exchange
Hot surfaces
Touching the electrical supply plates during operating may lead to burns. The
device may have a hot surface under unfavorable operating conditions.
1. Let the device cool off before disassembling it.
2. Do not touch the device during operation.
Voltage and high pressure
Danger of injury from electric shocks and sudden pressure drops.
Make sure the system is not under pressure or voltage before performing
u
the following tasks:
- Removing or connecting plugs
- Disassembling the system
- Exchanging individual components
Damage to the electrical supply plates
When disassembling the electrical supply plate, the internal electrical connec-
tion can be damaged. Therefore the lock screw is sealed with locking varnish.
Do not disassemble the electrical supply plate.
u
9.1 Removing the valve system from the mounting surface or
transition plate
1. Make sure the system is not under pressure or voltage before disassembly.
2. Loosen all connections.
3. Loosen all mounting screws on the valve system.
ð The valve system can now be removed from the mounting surface or transi-
tion plate.
Also note the assembly instructions for DIN rail R412019467.
