Troubleshooting
CAUTION
!
Strictly follow the Instructions for Use of the

The chemical protective suit may be damaged if
excessive amounts of disinfectant are used or if it is
exposed to the disinfectant for longer than indicated in
the respective Instructions for Use.
9. Thoroughly rinse all parts in clear water.
10. Drying of chemical protective suit (see Chapter 7.3.3 on
Page 28).
7.3.2
Machine cleaning and disinfection
The following accessories are required for machine cleaning:
Industrial washing machine Dräger CombiClean or
washing machine similar in construction
Washbag
Supporting disc
The industrial washing machine must have the following
characteristics:
Drum capacity >130 liters (>34.3 US gal)
Drum diameter >60 cm (>23.6 in)
Door opening >37 cm (>14.5 in)
Programmable controls
Electronic temperature control ±2 °C ( ±7 °F)
Drum revolutions: max. 4 revolutions/minute (2 slow
revolutions in one direction, 20 seconds idle time, 2 slow
revolutions in the other direction)
Clean and disinfect chemical protective suit as follows:
1. If the chemical protective suit is equipped with glove
combination 2, remove and dispose of the glove
combination (see Chapter 7.7.2 on Page 30). Replace by a
new glove combination.
2. If fitted, disassemble antifog visor, clean separately and
disinfect in immersion bath. Thoroughly rinse all parts in
clear water after cleaning.
CAUTION
!
Do not immerse antifog visors longer than 5 minutes,
otherwise the antifog coating will come off.

Make sure that the washing drum only moves when it
is filled with water to avoid damaging the chemical
protective suit.
Maintain the following parameters during washing:
Detergent dose for one stage of the washing program:
5 g Eltra/1 liter of fresh water (0.18 oz./33.8 fl. oz)
Water temperature 60 °C ... 64 °C (140 °F ... 147 °F)
4 rinse cycles
15. Dry the chemical protective suit.
7.3.3
