Write the serial number of your machine (6)
here.
As soon as you have purchased the machine,
do not forget to write the identification numbers
(3 - 5 - 6) in the spaces on the last page of the
manual.
The machine is composed of a series of main
components that have the following functions:
11. Cutting-means assembly: this is the cas-
ing that houses the rotating cutting means.
12. Cutting means: these are what cut the
grass; the fins at the ends help convey the
cut grass towards the collector channel.
13. Collector channel: this is the part con-
necting the Cutting-means assembly to the
grass catcher.
14. Grass catcher: as well as collecting the
grass cuttings, this is also a safety element
that stops any objects drawn up by the cut-
ting devices from being hurled away from
the machine.
15. Engine: this moves the cutting means and
drives the wheels. Its specifications and
regulations for use are described in a spe-
cific manual.
16. Battery: provides the energy for starting
the engine. Its specifications and regula-
tions for use are described in a specific
manual.
17. Driving seat: this is where the machine
operator sits. It has a sensor connected to
safety devices for detecting the presence of
the operator.
18. Warning and safety labels: these give
reminders on the main regulations for work-
ing in safety.
19. Inspection hatch: Inspection hatch: to pro-
vide easy access to the spark plug, the fuel
stopcock and the engine cover fastener nut.
20. Intake grid: provides air to circulate inside
the cutting-means assembly and prevents
expelling of foreign bodies through the
front.

2.3 SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

Your machine should be used with due care and
attention. Therefore, labels have been placed
on the machine to remind you pictorially of the
main precautions to take during use. These
labels are to be considered an integral part of
the machine. If a label should fall off or become
illegible, contact your Retailer to replace it. Their
meaning is explained below.
31. Warning: Read the instructions before op-
erating the machine.
32. Warning: Disconnect the key and read the
instructions before carrying out any mainte-
nance or repair work.
