Danger of explosion due to heat generation!
The cylinder valve unit generates heat during operation. Explosion protection is no longer
guaranteed when specified limits are exceeded.
Observe the limits specified under "Technical Data" (on page 77) and on the rating plates.
The maximum permissible frequency (double-stroke) is 0.4 Hz. A higher frequency results in
an impermissible temperature increase for the cylinder valve unit and presents an explosion
risk.
Never exceed the maximum permissible frequency of 0.4 Hz (double-stroke).
Danger of explosion due to spark formation!
Electrostatic charging on the cylinder valve unit can cause sparks to form and presents an
explosion hazard in explosion protection zones.
Avoid electrostatic charging, e.g. by grounding the cylinder valve unit.
Mechanical loads lead to the formation of sparks and present an explosion hazard.
Never twist or bend the cylinder valve unit, or mount it when it is not free of voltage.
Never expose the cylinder valve unit to impacts during transport, assembly, or
operation.
Install the cylinder valve unit so that it is protected from the energy of external impacts
to the housing that can occur during operation.
Avoid vibrations, e.g. by installing the system on a cushioned base.
