13 Troubleshooting
Check the connections, operating voltage, and working
pressure if malfunctions occur.
1. Ensure that the cylinder valve unit is not under pressure and
disconnect the relevant system part from the supply voltage.
2. Make sure that the connections are firmly in place and free of
damage.
3. Replace any damaged connections and tubing.
4. Restart the system part and cylinder valve unit.
5. Check the applied operating voltage and working pressure.
Use Table 6 to search for additional causes for malfunctions:
Malfunction
Loud impact or cylinder
vibrates in end position
Drop in performance
during continuous
operation
Pressure/flow level is not
reached or slowly
decreases.
Cylinder valve unit does
not achieve performance
If you should not be able to remedy an occurred defect, please
contact one of the addresses that you can find under

Possible cause
Cushioning too weak or
cylinder
underdimensioned
Cylinder defective
Working pressure too
low
Leakage in the tubing
Tubing too long
Remedy
Correct cushioning (see
page 70)
Exchange cylinder valve
unit
Set a higher working
pressure
Check tubing diameter
Check tubing and its
fittings
Reduce tubing length
