Replacing the Headlamp Bulbs
Replacing the Fuses
The fuse box is under the instrument panel.
Open the engine bonnet:
1. Remove the defective fuse and replace by the same type of fuse (15A or 5A).
2. If the engine still refuses to start, call in a specialist.
Taking off the Wheels
Braking Equipment (Fig. W1)
The Trac is equipped with a disc brake, which is located in the rear on the gear mechanism.
How to check the braking effect:
1. Put the Trac on level ground and turn off the engine.
2. Move the clutch arm (over the clutch lever, page 2, Item 7) to the position furthest to the rear so as to disengage the gearing
mechanism.
3. Push the brake pedal all the way down and secure it with the parking brake (see also Fig.B6)
4. Then try to push the Trac. If this is not possible, the brake is adjusted too tight and should be loosened somewhat.
5. If you can push the Trac without any great physical effort, the brake is adjusted too loose. It has to be set tighter.
Readjusting the Brake when too Loose
1. Move the clutch arm (over the clutch lever, page 2, Item 7) to the position furthest to the rear so as to disengage the gearing
mechanism.
2. Tighten the brake adjusting nut turning it clockwise until it is no longer possible to push the Trac easily.
3. Check the braking effect again as described above.
Readjusting the Brake when too Tight
1. Move the clutch arm (over the clutch lever, page 2, Item 7) to the position furthest to the rear so as to disengage the gearing
mechanism.
2. Loosen the brake adjusting nut turning it counter-clockwise until it is possible to push the Trac.
3. Check the braking effect again as described above.
Check the stopping distance. Drive the Trac in the highest gear at the maximum speed and then make a full braking. If
the stopping distance is longer than one metre, the brake has to be readjusted.

Only have this carried out at WOLF service shops!
Replacing the Blades (Fig. W2/W3)
The blades should always be sharp and must not be out of balance. The slightly bent upward shape of the cutting edges allows the
blades to cut off the grass in the best possible manner and convey it to the grass-catcher.
Important
It is recommended that the blades be replaced when the cutting edges bent upward show signs of wear.
Removing the Blades
1. Remove the mower beneath the Trac.
2. Unscrew the old blades and mount the new blades in the reverse order. Be sure that the blade bolts are tightened well, as
otherwise considerable vibration might develop (see Fig. W2/W3). When mounted, the ends of the blades should go upward,
as otherwise the blades will not cut.
Open the engine bonnet. The bulbs are set in a base with a bayonet socket.
Proceed as follows:
1. Take out the ignition key.
2. Jack up the Trac.
3. Remove the plastic hub cap from the wheel.
4. Take off the retaining ring and spacing clamp and remove the wheel..
