6.0 Maintenance
This unit is designed to operate for a long time.
If the operator shuts down correctly (
end of each shift, no further maintenance is required.
This unit must not be opened by the operator, except
in accordance with explicit instructions.
6.1

Compensation Run

All clamping and centring means are balanced in our
works to within a certain tolerance.
To compensate for any residual unbalance that might
be left in the clamping means, it is recommended
that an electrical compensation run be performed
after switching on the machine or after changing the
wheel adaptor, especially a motorcycle wheel adaptor.
This mode cannot be transferred into the permanent
memory.
Application:
 Fit the clamping device properly on the balancer
shaft. Do not fi t the wheel.
 From the MAIN MENU press key F2 (Fig. 6-1) three
times and select the F2 COMPENSATION key (Fig.
6-2).
The C4 screen (Figure 6-3) will open.
 Start the Compensation Run with the START key.
The Compensation Run takes longer than a regular
measuring run. After the Compensation Run, an icon
in the status Bar indicates the Compensation Active
(1, Fig. 6-4).

This mode of operation is retained until deleted by
- pressing menu key F2 (Fig. 6-2) again and rotating
the wheel until 0 will be displayed, thus by pressing F6,
- by starting readjustment
- or an optimisation run,
- or by switching off the machine.

Cette machine est conçue pour vous donner un service
de longue durée.


6.1 Lancée de Compensation
Tous les moyens de serrage et de centrage sont équilibrés
par le fabricant dans une certaine tolérance admissible.
Afi n de compenser d'éventuels balourds résiduels dans le
moyen de serrage, il est recommandé, après avoir branché
la machine ou avoir changé le dispositif de serrage de roue,
surtout pour les dispositifs de serrage de roue de motos,
d'effectuer une lancée de compensation électrique. Ce mode
ne peut pas être transféré dans la mémoire permanente.
Application:
 Fixer correctement le moyen de serrage sur l'arbre
de l'équilibreuse. Ne pas monter la roue.
 Dans le MENU PRINCIPAL, presser trois fois de
suite la touche F2 (Fig. 6-1) puis sélectionner la
touche F2 COMPENSATION (Fig. 6-2).
L'écran C4 (Fig. 6-3) s'affi che.
 A l'aide de la touche START, initialiser la lancement.
La lancée de compensation dure plus longtemps qu'une
lancée de mesure. Après la lancée, une icône dans la barre
d'état permet d'identifi er la condition de compensation active
(1, Fig. 6-4).
La compensation est opérationnelle jusqu'à ce qu'elle
soit annulée
- en appuyant encore une fois sur la touche de menu
F2 (Fig. 6-2) et en tournant la roue pour régler l'état 0
à l'écran, appuyez sur F6,
- en effectuant un réajustement,
- en initiant une optimisation de la stabilité de marche
- ou en mettant la machine hors service.
