e) Speed Controller Installation
The speed controller is water-cooled and connected to the outboard motor via the respective hoses and required
electrical lines ex works. The speed controller is simply placed on the cover of the RC box for operation. Please also
observe figure 3 in these operating instructions.
Practical advice:
Usually, the RC box does not need to be opened anymore after initial installation of the receiver system. Therefore, we
recommend that you attach the speed controller to the cover of the RC box with a strip of hook-and-loop tape (not
included).
Important!
Make sure that you do not bend the receiver aerial and to keep the cables or cooling water hoses freely
movable when steering without bending them.
Non-observance impairs or even interrupts the speed controller's and motor's water cooling. The speed
controller and/or motor may overheat and be damaged. Loss of guarantee/warranty!
f) Boat Rack Installation
The scope of delivery includes a boat rack of wood that has to be assembled and glued together first.
Build the boat rack of the four wood parts as shown in figure 5. The two side parts (figure 5, item 1) must be built so that
the wide side points down. The longitudinal parts (figure 5, item 2) are attached to the side parts so that the writing can
be read.
Glue the wood parts on with a drop of viscous instant adhesive or some 5-minute epoxy glue.
