• Remove the four holding brackets plugged in at the side and lift the hull deck from the ship's body (figure- 2, item 1).
• Remove the RC box cover (figure 2, item 2) by removing both screws.
• Connect the speed controller to channel 2 of the receiver. For this, observe the operating instructions of the remote
control system.
To insert the receiver connection cable of the speed controller into the RC box, you need to cut a small cross into the
RC box wall pointing towards the ship's nose and push the cable through there.
If the cable is inserted sufficiently far, the cuts must be sealed again with a strip of adhesive tape or a drop of silicone.
Alternatively, you may drill a suitable hole and seal the cable introduction with a rubber sleeve (not included) (figure
2, item 3).
So-called ferrite cores are often wrapped in the receiver connection cable for speed controllers. They
serve interference reduction and must be placed as close as possible to the receiver.
Any present ferrite core does not have to be introduced into the RC box for connection to the receiver. If a
little more cable is needed for connection to the receiver, the wrap may have to be readjusted.
• Attach the receiver to the side of the RC box with a strip of double-sided adhesive tape (e.g. servo tape) or a strip of
hook-and-loop tape. We recommend that you keep some distance from the bottom of the RC box so that any
ingressing water does not damage the receiver at once (figure 2, item 4).
• Connect the rudder servo to channel 1 of the receiver. For this, observe the operating instructions of the remote
control.
• Loose cables should be bundled with a cable tie to prevent them from getting into the linkage.
