6.6 Touch Screen Functions

Touch Screen Description/Touch Screen Action
HOME MENU
Home menu has a battery
power usage indicator and
(4) four soft buttons each
allowing a discrete function.
Pressing each soft button
enters a sub menu for
a specific function. The
instructions for touch
screen user menus are
described in this section.
Battery Power Usage
Indicator
Battery usage indicator
provides the battery power
usage status. When battery
power usage reaches 30%,
the system will prompt user
to charge the Display
Module. When battery power
usage reaches 20%, the system
will automatically shut down.
Start Menu
• Upon entering Start Menu,
the user has a choice of
entering Exam mode for
a New Patient or Saved
Patient.
• If New Patient, press the
desired numbers and/or
letters to enter Patient ID.
The numbers are
displayed on the first
screen. If letters are
desired, select the soft
button labeled "ABC" on
the left side of the screen.
User may enter up to
twelve (12) characters.
• If Patient ID is not desired, a press "Back" to return
to Exam Screen, and no Patient ID is entered.
• If Patient ID is entered incorrectly, press to
cancel previously entered number.
