6.7 Touch Screen Functions

Touch Screen Description/Touch Screen Action
HOME MENU
Home menu has a battery power
usage indicator and (4) four soft
buttons each allowing a discrete
function. Pressing each soft
button enters a sub menu for a
specific function. The instructions
for touch screen user menus are
described in this section.
Battery Power Usage
Indicator
Battery usage indicator provides
the battery power usage status.
When battery power usage
reaches 30%, user should
charge the Handheld Monitor.
New Patient Menu
• Press the appropriate
numbers to enter patient ID.
The number is displayed in
the window with a white
background. User may
enter only four (4) digits.
• Press
Home Menu and no Patient
ID is entered.
• Press C to cancel previously
entered number.
• Press OK to confirm Patient
ID and start the procedure.
A confirmation message
"Patient ID# is entered"
along with the newly created
Patient ID will be displayed on
the LCD screen.
• After three (3) seconds, the
confirmation message is erased
and the real time image will be
displayed on the LCD Screen.
