Installation
5.1
Ceramill Mikro
Countries with 100-115 V mains voltage
The machine is preset for a mains voltage of
230 V. When the mains voltage at the set-up loca-
tion is 100-115 V:
▷ Pull out the fuse compartment ([9] in fig. 2 on
page 30) below the mains plug.
▷ Replace both T3.15 A fuses with the provided
T6.3 A fuses.

Ceramill Mikro set-up
Please refer to the separate Ceramill
Mikro set-up instructions.
_ The machine is intended exclusively for use
within dry, closed rooms.
_ A clearance of at least 200 mm is to be
observed sidewards, to the rear and upwards.
Minimum space requirements for the Ceramill
Mikro (incl. connections):
▪ Width: 810 mm
▪ Depth: 630 mm
▪ Height: 740 mm
_ The empty weight of the machine is 45 kg. The
set-up surface must withstand an appropriate
load.
_ During operation, the room temperature must
be between 18 °C and 30 °C; avoid large varia-
tions in temperature.
▷ Set up the machine on a sturdy work table or
work bench (off the ground and clear of walls).
▷ Adjust the height of the machine by screwing
the feet in or out, ensuring that the machine is
positioned firmly on all four feet.
I N S T A L L A T I O N
▷ Insert the extraction hose of the extraction sys-
tem being used (e.g. Ceramill Airstream) to the
extraction-hose connection [10] in fig. 2 on
page 30) on the rear side of the Ceramill Mikro.
▷ Connect the compressed-air hose on the rear
side of the Ceramill Mikro.
5.2
Maintenance unit
The spindle is equipped with a sealing-air feature.
This sealing air prevents shavings/chips and dust
from entering the spindle. The service unit filters
possible contamination in the sealing air and thus
prevents costly machine damage.
