Re-mount screw, slide ring and nut (see fi g.: 5b).
Insert the press seal into the core drilling/liner until

it's fl ush with the wall (see fi g.: 4e).
The media lines must be free of longitudinal
grooves and damage in the sealing area. (Pos-
sibly push media lines back or forwards a little
until grooves are no longer visible).
► The pipe seal is evenly pressed in as soon as the
rubber can be seen and felt in all inspection
openings (see fi g.: 4e).
Tighten screws cross-wise and step-by-step with
a maximum of fi ve rotations in each case until the
torque is reached (see table 2) and the rubber
emerges evenly from all inspection openings (see
fi g.: 4e).
9 Assembly of the split press seal on
already laid pipes (D = 250 - 500
mm) from inside of building
Assembly is carried out as in chapter 8 work stage
1 and 2, only from the inside of the building.
Slide the press seal from the inside of building up

to the outer edge of the core drilling/liner until it's
fl ush with the wall (see fi g.: 4f).

Check the diameters of the concrete core drillings/

conduit, press seal, split ISO ring and corrugated
cable duct (see fi g.: 6).

Compare the labelled ring clips provided in pairs
with the cable duct manufacturer/diameter, place in
the corrugated pipe profi le and engage by pressing
gently (click) (see fi g.: 7).

The number of ring clips can vary depending on
cable duct manufacturer.
The closed press seal is pushed from the outside of
the building over the corrugated cable duct until
the ring clips are fully covered and fi nish fl ush with
the outside wall (see fi g.: 8).

Tighten screws cross-wise and step-by-step with
a maximum of fi ve rotations in each case until the
torque is reached (see table 3) (see fi g.: 9).
► The pipe sealing is pressed evenly as soon as
the rubber can be seen and felt in all inspection
openings (see fi g.: 9). Does not apply to WRD
sealing sets with external hex bolts!

Order for tightening the screws
From the inside of the building, the split ISO ring
is evenly pushed into the wall opening over the
corrugated cable duct until it fi nishes fl ush with the
wall opening (see fi g.: 10).

Disassemble the press seal and the
sealing set
The press seal must be secured against sliding out of the
core drill hole/wall sleeve before starting disassembly.
Depressurise the core drill hole/wall sleeve.
Disassembly takes place in reverse order to assembly
(see fi g.: 11 and 12).
After disassembly, the press seal and the sealing set
must be dismantled into its individual components
and recycled according to the valid environmental
regulations.
