8.4 Smoke exhaust duct cleaning
At least once a season it is necessary to remove the front cap of the stove and to remove the ash col-
lection cap and clean the smoke collector with an ash vacuum cleaner and a brush. To achieve this it
is necessary to open the door and access the compartment by removing the two inspection caps as
shown in the figure (Fig. 33 - Fig. 34 - Fig. 35).
Maintenance does not pose particular problems and must be carried out in compliance with
the prescriptions of the Technical Data Sheet. For the TWIGGYmodel, to ensure durability,
maintenance and cleaning, it is necessary to take into account the structure of the exhaust
circuit of the combustion products in the stove and the presence of a compartment for col-
lecting the soot inside it. Maintenance and cleaning must be carried out in compliance with
the specific provisions contained in the Technical Data Sheet. The seals must be replaced, if
necessary, on the access panels to the combustion products circuit.
Possible discolouration of the internal door frame is due to combustion temperatures and
ashes and does not preclude normal stove operation.
