Set up the controller. For instructions, see chapter Setting up the controller.
3. Check the brakes
Check that the brakes operate in all directions and that the speed increases as it should do
in relation to the control.
4. Check the noises
Listen for unusual noises.
5. Check the mechanical or magnetic limit switch operation
Check the upper and lower mechanical or magnetic limit switches.

6. Check the geared limit switch operation (if equipped)
If the chain hoist is equipped with a rotating geared limit switch, check the operation of the
limit switch. The cutting points (upper and lower limits) of the geared limit switch must be
adjusted before starting to operate the chain hoist.

7. Check the hook safety latch
Check to ensure that the hook safety latch is in place on the hook. Check that the hook
safety latch is in good condition and that it closes automatically.

6.4.1 Réglage de la télécommande radio
AVERTISSEMENT! RISQUE DE MOUVEMENT INCONTRÔLÉ
Relâcher le bouton d'arrêt d'urgence et utiliser le palan dans des conditions risquées
peut provoquer des blessures graves ou la mort.
Ne relâchez jamais le bouton d'arrêt d'urgence et n'utilisez jamais le produit avant
d'avoir vérifié qu'il n'y avait aucun risque.
Pour pouvoir utiliser la télécommande radio, effectuez les étapes suivantes :
1. Assurez-vous que le commutateur d'isolation principal est en position de marche (ON).
Le palan ne sera en état de fonctionner (alimenté) qu'une fois la connexion entre le produit
et la télécommande radio établie.
2. Le cas échéant, utilisez l'interrupteur à clé pour activer la télécommande radio.
3. Pour préparer la télécommande radio à la mise en service, relâchez le bouton d'arrêt
d'urgence.
Pour relâcher le bouton d'arrêt d'urgence, tournez-le dans le sens horaire. Si le bouton
d'arrêt d'urgence est de type à pousser/tirer, relâchez-le en levant le bouton en position
relevée.
4. Alimentez le produit en appuyant sur le bouton-poussoir de démarrage (si installé).
La télécommande radio est maintenant prête pour les contrôles de fonctionnement.

Check the condition of the rubber plate on top of the hook. The rubber plate activates
the mechanical or magnetic upper and lower limit switches on the chain hoist. If the
rubber plate is damaged or not in place, the limit switches do not operate correctly.
Check the correct operation of the limit switches by raising and lowering the hook at
low speed. When you raise and lower the hook, drive the chain from one end to the
other.
First check the operation of the limit switch. For instructions, see chapter Testing the
hoist without load.
After checking the operation of the limit switch, adjust the upper and lower limits. For
instructions, see chapter Adjusting the rotating geared limit switch. If the limit switches
cannot be adjusted, the rotating geared limit switch must be replaced.
