3. Perform visual checks
Check the hoist visually to see that there are no oil leaks from the hoist or other equipment.
4. Check the operation of the emergency stop button
Check that the emergency stop button can be pressed down and that it stays in that
position.
REMARQU
Never operate the product if it is locked or tagged out.

5. Check the chain
• Check the chain visually for any deformations, damage, or twisting.
• Check the chain for cleanness and correct lubrication. For lubrication instructions, see
chapter Lubrication.
6. Check the hook
• Inspect the hook for nicks, gouges, and twisting. Check the throat opening of the hook for
deformation. Also inspect the hook for wear on the saddle or load bearing point.
• Check that the hook rotates freely.
7. Check warning signs
Check that all warning signs are in place. Check that the warning signs are in good
condition and can be read easily.

AVERTISSEMENT! RISQUE DE MOUVEMENT INCONTRÔLÉ
Si le bouton d'arrêt d'urgence est défectueux, le produit risque de se déplacer
inopinément pendant les vérifications suivantes. Des mouvements inopinés pendant les
vérifications peuvent provoquer des blessures graves ou mortelles.
Ne séjournez pas dans la zone à risques.
1. Tournez le commutateur d'isolation principal en position de marche.
Le produit est en état de fonctionnement (alimenté).
2. Avec le bouton d'arrêt d'urgence enfoncé, vérifiez que l'équipement ne se déplace pas
lorsque vous appuyez sur les boutons-poussoirs de commande de direction.
Si l'équipement ne se déplace pas, la vérification du fonctionnement du bouton d'arrêt
d'urgence a lieu.
3. Vérifiez le bon fonctionnement mécanique de chaque bouton-poussoir, manette ou isolateur
du boîtier de commande suspendu.

Checking the operation with the controller enabled
Perform the following checks before every working shift. The checks must be done with the
emergency stop button released and the power to the chain hoist switched on.
AVERTISSEMENT! UNCONTROLLED MOVEMENT HAZARD
Releasing the emergency stop button and operating the product when it is unsafe could
cause serious injury or death.
Never release the emergency stop button and operate the product until you are sure
that it is safe to do so.
1. Check the warning devices
Check that all warning devices work correctly before starting to use the product. Check the
indicator lights, LEDs, displays, gongs, bells, alarm horns, alarm sirens, and beacon lights.
