Is the device effective on white, grey or blond hair?

Thanks to eHPL technology, the Silk'n Infinity™ is suitable for all skin types
and almost all hair colors. The device works best on darker hair types or hair
that contains more melanin. Melanin is the pigment that gives hair and skin
their color and absorbs light energy. Black and dark brown hair respond best.
Brown and light brown hair normally require more sessions. Red, blond, grey or
white hair can also be removed if the skin color is light enough. Grey or white
hair is not suitable for treatment only when combined with the darkest skin

Can I use Silk'n Infinity™ on brown or darker skin?
Light-based hair removal systems are generally not suitable for dark-skinned
or heavily tanned people, or are only suitable to a certain extent. This is
because the device removes unwanted hair by selectively treating hair pig-
ment. Varying amounts of pigment also exist in the surrounding skin tissue.
The darker the skin, the greater the number of pigments and the higher the
risk of adverse effects such as burns, blisters, and skin color changes (hyper or
hypopigmentation). This is why the hair remover has a skin type sensor that
prevents light pulses from being emitted onto skin that is too dark or tanned.

However, due to the combination of optical and galvanic energy used by Silk'n
Infinity™, this device works on a wider range of skin tones than other devices
on the market – only the use on the darkest of skin types in combination with
grey or white hair is not possible.
