Do not use the hair removal device...

...on naturally dark skin if your hair is very light!
The device has a special skin type sensor that may prevent use on skin that is
too dark. Before hair removal, compare your hair and skin color with those in
our hair and skin color table (see inside front cover). Do not use the device if
your hair and skin color are not suitable for it. There is a risk of adverse effects
such as burns, blisters, and skin color changes (hyper or hypopigmentation).
...on energy levels 2 to 5 on tanned skin or directly after being exposed to
the sun (incl. tanning studio). Avoid direct sunlight and tanning beds for at
least 4 weeks prior to treatment!
Tanned skin, especially following sun exposure, contains large amounts of the
pigment melanin. This applies to all skin types and pigmentations, including
skin types that do not appear to tan quickly. This exposes the skin to an
increased risk of serious burns and skin injuries if you use the device on
energy level 2 to 5. However, you may use the lowest energy level 1 safely,
even straight after sun exposure.
...close to your eyes!
Be especially careful when using the device to remove facial hair. Never use it
on or near your eyes. Use of the device on eyes can cause severe eye injuries.
Keep the device away from your eyes!
Never look directly into the light emitted from the treatment surface.
