• Always replace all batteries at the same time. Do not mix old and new
batteries and do not use different types or brands of batteries, or batteries
with different capacities. Ensure that the polarity (+/–) is correct when
inserting batteries.
• If necessary, clean the battery and device contacts before inserting them.
Risk of overheating!
• The contact terminals in the battery compartment must not be short-
circuited.
• Protect the device from impacts, falls, dust, moisture, direct sunlight and
extreme temperatures.
• Protect the device from moisture. Do not immerse the device in water or
other liquids.
• Do not use continue to use the device if there are any signs of damage –
especially in the slot – or if it has been dropped.
• Do not attempt to open the device and do not make any modifications to
the device. Only have repairs carried out by a specialist workshop, or con-
tact the customer care service.
• The LEDs are firmly built into the device. The must not and cannot be
replaced.
• Some varnishes, plastic materials or furniture polish may react adversely
to the material of the non-slip feet and soften them. To avoid unwanted
marks on furniture, place a non-slip mat underneath the product if neces-
sary.
