Error message
The appliance can be set, but does not
heat up. The colon flashes.
The water tank and drip tray symbols are
flashing continuously.
The warm air / steam escapes above the
appliance door.
The cooling fan continues to run after
operation ends.
The cooling fan continues to run when the
appliance door is opened.
Steam is not visible in the hot air / grill
combination mode.
Collecting tank is empty after operation.
White lime scale particles are in the col-
lecting tank.
Low water consumption in combination

Possible cause
The appliance is in demo mode.
Technical problem.
The cooling fan is running
The appliance needs to be cooled after operation. No malfunction.
The appliance needs to be cooled during and
after operation.
Steam is not visible in every temperature range.
The hotter the steam, the less visible it is.
In steam / steam combination mode, the conden-
sation is collected by the glass plate on the cook-
ing compartment floor and the grey drip tray in
the bottom plate. The condensation does not
reach the collecting tank.
During rinsing or descaling, fine particles of lime
dissolve out of the boiler.
In steam combination mode, especially with
3 functions, it may be that only small amounts of
steam are used. Therefore, only little water is con-
sumed from the fresh water tank.
Dirt on the control panel is creating a touch field
that is permanently active.
The steam function has been activated multiple
times with an empty water tank.
Remedy/Note
Deactivate demo mode in the basic settings.
Note: Demo mode is only visible in the first 5 minutes
after connecting the appliance to the mains.
Make sure that the water tank and drip tray are fully
inserted in the relevant tank recess.
If the symbols continue to flash, call our customer ser-
vice.
You may continue to use the appliance, except for the
steam function.
No malfunction. The cooling fan continues running for
a short time after operation ends. The cooling fan pro-
tects the appliance from overheating.
No malfunction. All cooking functions (microwave,
etc.) are stopped when the door is opened.
No malfunction.
The collecting tank serves only the rinsing and descal-
ing process, not the normal steam / steam combina-
tion mode. See also chapter "Steam".
During rinsing and descaling, stuck lime particles may
come loose. Check the water hardness setting. Per-
form the descaling process at the recommended
intervals.
No malfunction.
Switch off the appliance and clean the control panel.
Switch the appliance on again.
If this fault recurs immediately after switching back
on, call our customer service.
Before next use, make sure that the water tank is filled
with cold water and fully inserted in the tank recess.
