If the paper jams after pressing the PRINT button, the message stating that paper
has jammed appears on the video monitor and in the printer window display.
Follow the steps below to remove the jammed paper.

Open the front panel.
Possible causes and remedies
The printer is not receiving an input signal from
equipment corresponding to the input selected on the
INPUT SETUP menu.
t Check the input signal selected on the INPUT
SETUP menu. (See page 14.)
t Check whether the video equipment is outputting a
video signal in playback mode.
t Check that the connections between the signal
source equipment and the printer are secure. (See
page 74.)
The image is not captured in memory.
t Capture the image in memory then start printing.
(See page 19.)
In the selected memory page, the captured image is
being printed or queued.
t Retry the operation once the printer finishes printing.
The thermal head has overheated.
t Leave the printer until the head cools down and this
message disappears. The printer starts printing
automatically.
The thermal head is being heated.
t Wait until this message disappears. The printer
starts printing automatically.
The printer is printing, preventing any other operation.
t Wait until the printer finishes printing, then retry the
operation.
