Aiguille double
* L'aiguille double fait partie des accessoires en option
et ne fait pas partie de la livraison de cette machine à
coudre électronique.
Montez l'aiguille double.
REMARQUE : Utilisez toujours le pied universel
l'aiguille double, quel que soit la méthode de couture.
Utilisez exclusivement des aiguilles doubles avec un
écart de max. 2 mm entre les aiguilles.
Utilisez l'arrêt de bobine horizontal et effectuez l'enfi-
lage usuel. Enfilez l'aiguille gauche.
Placez le deuxième arrêt de bobine (fourni) au-des-
sus de la machine dans l'ouverture prévue à cet
effet. Mettez en place la deuxième bobine. Enfilez-la
comme d'habitude à l'exception du guide-fil au-des-
sus de l'aiguille et enfilez le fil dans l'aiguille droite.
Enfilez chaque aiguille séparément.
REMARQUE : Prenez soin que les deux fils utilisés pour
les aiguilles doubles sont de la même taille. Les couleurs
peuvent bien sûr variées.
Avant de coudre, vérifiez avec le volant que l'aiguille
ne touche pas la plaque à aiguille.
Sélectionnez un point et cousez. Vous pouvez utiliser
tous les points sauf le point dans le mode direct
ou les points 16 –27 du groupe B.
Deux rangées parallèles seront cousues.
REMARQUE : Sélectionnez toujours une vitesse lente
lorsque vous cousez avec une aiguille double afin de
garantir un joli résultat.
Ne sélectionnez pas une largeur de points trop grande
lorsque vous cousez avec une aiguille double.
Twin Needle

Using the twin needle

* The twin needle is an optional accessory.
Insert the twin needle.
NOTE: When using twin needles, use the all purpose
foot regardless of what kind of sewing method will be
avec carried out.
Use only twin needle assemblies with max. 2 mm needle
distance.
Follow the instructions for single-needle threading
using the horizontal spool pin. Thread through the left
needle.
Set the auxiliary spool pin (included with the accesso-
ries) into the hole on the top of the machine. Thread
through remaining points, making certain to omit
the thread guide above the needle and pass thread
through the right needle.
Thread each needle separately.
NOTE: Make sure that the two threads used to thread
the twin needle are of the same weight. You can use one
or two colors.
Before sewing turn the handwheel to check the nee-
dle clearance, so that needle does not hit the needle
plate.
Select a pattern and start to sew. Except the Direct
patterns and B Group patterns 16 –27, the other
patterns can be used.
Two lines of stitching are sewn parallel to each other.
NOTE: When sewing with twin needle, always proceed
slowly, and make sure to maintain a low speed to insure
quality stitching.
The stitch width should not be set too wide when sew-
ing with twin needles.

* De tweelingnaald hoort bij de speciale accessoire en
wordt niet meegeleverd bij deze computergestuurde
naaimachine.
Tweelingnaald plaatsen.
AANWIJZING: Bij gebruik van een tweelingnaald moet
altijd de universele voet gebruikt worden, ongeacht
de naaimethode.
Gebruik alleen tweelingnaalden met een max. tussenaf-
stand van 2 mm.
Gebruik de horizontale garenpen en volg de gebruike-
lijke route voor het inrijgen. Linkernaald inrijgen.
De tweede garenpen (meegeleverd met de acces-
soires) bovenop in de betreffende opening steken.
Tweede garenklos plaatsen. Zoals gebruikelijk inrijgen
maar de draadgeleiding langs de naald laten lopen en
de rechternaald inrijgen.
Rijg elke naald apart in.
AANWIJZING: Zorg ervoor dat de twee draden van de
tweelingnaald van dezelfde dikte zijn. De kleuren kunnen
natuurlijk variëren.
Voor het naaien moet met het handwiel worden
gecontroleerd of de naald de naaldplaat niet raakt.
Kies een patroon en naai het.
U kunt alle patronen behalve de directkeuzepatronen
en de patronen 16–27 van de groep B gebruiken.
Er worden twee parallelle rijen steken genaaid.
AANWIJZING: Naai bij het naaien met een tweelingnaald
altijd op een lage snelheid om mooie naairesultaten te
bereiken.
De steekbreedte mag bij het naaien met een tweeling-
naald niet te breed worden ingesteld.
