③ Install the 3-way Diverter Valve
Note:
·
Close the main water valve in your home before installation and make
sure all the water in the pipes has been drained.
·
Check whether the sealing ring is in place before installation. If not, all
the butted male thread fittings need to be firmly wrapped with Teflon
tape 6-9 turns in the direction of screwing to prevent leakage.
·
It is recommended to install an angle valve at the water source before
installing the 3-way diverter valve.
·
Use a monkey wrench to install if necessary.
·
If the size of the 3-way diverter valve does not match, use the provided
adapter and connect in the order shown in the figure.
