Instruction for work
2. Preparing
2.1 Special safety instructions
–
When performing check up,
maintenance repair and mount works
always switch off the P.T.O.shaft.
Switch off the engine and pull out the
ignition key. Secure tractor against
movements.
–
Maximum number of rotations is 540
rpm.
–
Devices like string, hydraulic tubes,
electrical installations must be placed
so that any unintentional pull or touch
with tyres is impossible. Risk of
accident!
–
Nobody is allowed to stay between the
tractor and the machine when lifting or
lowering the swather with tractor
hydraulics.
–
Make sure nobody is in the danger area
of the swather before switching on the
P.T.O. shaft. High injury risk!
–
Pay attention to use protections
according to regulations when working
or driving on the road. Mount the light
equipment and check its functioning.
–
Never leave the driver seat during
working.
Before connecting or disconnecting the machine to
the three point hydraulic hitch, set the handling device
into the position which prevents unintentional lowering
or lifting of the three point hitch!
Connecting and disconnecting the swather requires
special attention!
In the area of three point hydraulic hitch bars there is
danger of injuries being caused by squeezing and of
bruises.
The machine is constructed with three point hydraulic
connections of the 1st and 2nd category.
2.2 Attaching the rotary tedder to the tractor
The attaching of the rotary tedder to the tractor is
constructed with connections of the 1st and 2nd
category of the three point hydraulic hitch bar.
–
Pay attention that nobody is between
the tractor and the machine when
connecting the machine to the tractor.
–
Make sure that the machine has
sufficient driving capacity during the
drive. (ballast weights)
–
After attaching the rotary tedder the
lower bar of thr three point hitch must
be fixed to prevent the side oscillation
of the machine and not to reduce the
driving capacity of the tractor.
–
Attach the tedder to the three-point system and
secure it with pins (1).
–
Raise the support leg (2) and secure it with a pin
(4) in the upper position. Do not remove the
support leg!
–
Fix the tractor arms with side stabilizers (6) and
use the rails (5) to ensure that the tedder cannot
rotate laterally outward.
