15.2 Drilling-/Milling-Head
15.2.1 Adjusting the Drilling/Milling Head
15.2.2 Swivel Drilling/Milling Head
15.2.3 Installing Tools
1. Insert the desired cutting tool into the milling arbor or into the drill chuck.
2. Insert the tool holder or the cutting shaft into the spindle cone.
3. Tighten the tightening bolt, but be careful not to overtighten it.
15.2.4 Selecting the Speed
Changing the speed while the drilling spindle is rotating can damage the machine.
Always switch off the machine before changing the speed and wait until the drilling
spindle has come to a standstill!
Selecting the speed: The speed is selected via the motor speed selector
switch (stage I or II) and via the two gear switches (L, H; 1, 2, 3). The
speed table on the drill head (on the left in the picture) indicates how to
select the correct speed.
Important: Only change the speed when the machine is at a standstill!

To move the drilling/milling head up or down,
loosen the two clamping levers. Using the
handwheel on the side of the head, you can now
move the head upwards or downwards via the
worm gear with internal gear rack (see illustration
on the left). Once the desired height has been
reached, tighten the clamping levers again to avoid
vibrations.
The drill head can be rotated 360° when the clamping levers are
released. Adjust the head to the desired angle and tighten the lock
nuts:
1. Loosen the hexagon nuts on the sides and at the bottom of the
drill head.
2. Swivel the drill head to the desired position using the scale.
3. Retighten the hexagon nuts.
