Scramble
The scramble feature makes your transmissions sound garbled to anyone listening without the same
scramble code.
NOTE: The scramble feature is supported in analog mode only.

Initiating and Receiving Scramble Calls
Procedure:
1. Select the channel that you want to toggle scramble on or off.
2. Press the programmed Scramble On/Off button.
If scramble is enabled:

A positive tone sounds.
If scramble is disabled:

A negative tone sounds.
3. To call, press the PTT button.

Your radio is able to receive clear calls if the scramble code is the same as the transmitter.
●
If your radio receives a different scramble code, you are not able to hear the call or hear a garbled
transmission.
