Remote Monitor
This feature is used to turn on the microphone of a target radio. You can use this feature to remotely monitor
any audible activity surrounding the target radio.
This feature automatically stops after a programmed duration or when there is user operation on the target
radio.
10.1
Initiating Remote Monitor
Your dealer can set up the One Touch Access button to send remote monitor command to the desired
subscriber ID.
Procedure:
1. Select the channel that you want to send the remote monitor command.
2. Press the programmed One Touch Access button.
Result:
If the request is successful:
●
A positive indicator tone sounds.
●
The target radio blinks green then red LEDs once.
●
You can hear the audio surrounding the target audio for a programmed duration.
If the request is unsuccessful:
●
A negative indicator tone sounds.
