Installation
Transport information
The tank must be carried by the two recessed handles.
The handles on the cover or pumps are not to be used to
carry the tank!
4.1
General installation information
A residual current circuit breaker must be provided as electrical protection for the system.
The system's control unit must be positioned in such a way as to prevent any unauthorised use.
Consequential damage can occur in the building if the system is switched off accidentally.
Assembly sequence
The system is installed and put into operation at different times according to the usual construction phases on a building site.
Installation of the tank with connection of a wastewater inlet, ventilation and the pressure pipe through which the waste-

Installation of the control unit and connection of the electrical components (see "Installing the control unit", page 37).

4.2
Setting the system in place
Make sure there is enough space for maintenance work to be carried out in accordance with the relevant directives and
standards (EN 12056-4 and EN 12050-1). We recommend at least 60 cm working space all round the plant.
The system must be installed on a level surface that is sufficiently load-bearing (take into account weight when filled =
tank volume in kg plus 70 to 250 kg, depending on system design).
The surface must be suitable for holding the floor fixings (per screw, 0.9 kN), which are intended to prevent the system in
the pump sump from floating up.
Connection pipes (inlet and outlet as well as venting) must be fixed so that they are self-supporting, they must not exert
any load on the system.
4.3
Fixing the tank
Place the tank in the correct position and screw onto the
floor at the two fastening points (1). Screws maximum
M8.
Choose fasteners capable of bearing a tensile load of
at least 200 N per fastening point.
Use a KESSEL sound absorption mat (available as an
accessory) to minimise sound transfer.
