Cleaning the system
Change the wastewater level in the tank so that it is at
the minimum level. This is done in manual mode (see the
„Manual mode" chapter in the installation and operating
instructions supplied for the control unit). Switch on the
wastewater pump (1) until the pump draws air.
Unscrew the screws (2), a total of 16 pieces and remove
the backflow preventer.
Move the backwash device (4) on the backflow preventer
(3) to a horizontal position (as shown).
The wastewater in the pressure pipe runs back into the
system tank.
Emptying the system tank
This can be done through the connection (6) of the man-
ual diaphragm pump or using a wet vacuum cleaner.
Unscrew the service access cover (5).
Make sure that the float switch (3) and the float switch
rods are free from suspended matter and solids, clean if
necessary. To this end, in case of stubborn dirt, remove,
clean and re-install.
Make sure that the intake opening of the wastewater
pumps (4) is free of suspended matter and solids, clean if
necessary. To this end, in case of stubborn dirt, remove,
clean and re-install.
