Maintenance
Observe EN 12056-4 for maintenance.
7.1
Maintenance interval
According to standard specifications, maintenance must be carried out at the following intervals:
1/4-yearly for systems in commercial operations
1/2-yearly for systems in apartment buildings
Yearly for systems in single-family homes
Visual inspection
The system must be checked once every month by the operator through observation of two switching cycles for opera-
tional ability and leak-tightness.
7.2
Preparatory measures
CAUTION
Inlet and outlet pipes must be emptied and depressurised before work is started.
Make sure that the inlet
to the system remains unused during maintenance and
close off the shut-off valve (optional accessory).
The fill level in the system tank must be located below the fixing level (pump flange) of the pumps.
Ensure that the system cannot be switched on accidentally during the maintenance work. This applies in particular if the
control unit is in a different room to the system tank.
CAUTION
Risk of material damage!
Pump must not dry run.

Maintenance work on the Aqualift L Mono
For the Aqualift L Mono, art. no. 28798 and 28898
Cleaning the system
Change the wastewater level in the tank so that it is at
the minimum level. This is done in manual mode (see the
„Manual mode" chapter in the installation and operating
instructions supplied for the control unit). Switch on the
wastewater pump (1) until the pump draws air.
Unscrew the screws (2), a total of 8 pieces and remove
the backflow preventer.
Move the backwash device (4) on the backflow preventer
(3) to a horizontal position (as shown).
The wastewater in the pressure pipe runs back into the
system tank.
