If the camera is using an
external power option,
2. Insert the ball on the back of the camera into the ball socket on the mounting bracket.
Tighten the ball joint enough to keep the camera in place, but still allow it to pivot.
3. Remove the protective film from the camera lens.
4. Attach the Mobile Phone Pouch.
a. Insert the mobile phone into the Mobile Phone Pouch.
b. Hook the pouch on the lower Metal Band Strap.
c. Ensure that the phone and pouch are secure.

Camera Aiming
Accurate aiming and positioning of the camera is essential to maximizing plate capture performance. Proper
aiming ensures that license plates traveling through the camera's field of view are at an ideal distance and
angle for generating images that are as clear and readable as possible.

Actions
Connect the elbow power connector to the camera:
a. Align the elbow connector with the lower port on the back of the
camera by rotating until the connector drops in.
NOTE: The elbow power connector is keyed so that the
connector can only connect when rotated into the cor-
rect position.
b. Tighten down the locking sleeve.
