Chapter 2: Pre-Installation

Procedure:
1. If the Battery Tray is inserted, remove the tray from the camera.
NOTE: The camera is shipped without the battery tray inserted.
2. Identify the card slot types and proper card orientations by referring to the labels by each slot in the
battery compartment.

3. Align the card as indicated by the label and slide the card into the correct slot.
4. Press gently on the card until it clicks into place.
CAUTION: Do not forcefully insert the card into the slot. Doing so may damage the card or the
slot. If the card does not slide in easily, check the card orientation and slot type.
5. Optional: To remove a card, press gently until it clicks out of place.

Installing the Camera Batteries
The camera is powered by two internal Camera Batteries that are inserted into the Battery Tray. If needed,
the individual batteries or the whole Battery Tray can be swapped out before or after installation. Install the
Camera Batteries before attempting to power the camera from one of the available power options.
Prerequisites: Obtain the following:

Battery Tray
●
Pin and Torx Tool
Procedure:
1. Ensure that the camera is disconnected from any external power source.
NOTE: Connecting power to the camera before installing the Camera Batteries will prevent
them from charging.
2. Remove and discard any foam or shipping material from between the battery slots in the battery tray.
3. Install the Camera Batteries into the battery tray:
