Chapter 2: Pre-Installation
Prerequisites: Ensure that the internal Camera Batteries have been charged and installed. Obtain the
following:

USB-C Charging Cable
●
USB-C Power Adapter (25 W) or Power Source
Procedure:
1. Open the Charging Port door and connect the USB-C Charging Cable.
a. Open the Charging Port door by unscrewing the security screw with the Pin and Torx Tool.
b. Plug the USB-C end of the USB-C Charging Cable in to the USB-C Charging Port on the camera.
c. Plug the other end of the USB-C Charging Cable that has the USB-A adapter into a USB power
source.

2. Allow the internal Camera Batteries to fully charge.
During normal camera operation, the green LED illuminates when the battery is fully charged. For
other LED power indications, see
3. Select one of the following options:

Result: The internal Camera Battery is fully charged and the green LED illuminates.
2.7.2
Charging Solar Panel Batteries
Use the included Solar Panel Battery AC Power Adapter to charge both the Solar Panel Batteries. The LED
on the Solar Panel Batteries indicates the charging status.
