3.3.1
Mounting the Solar Panel
Solar panels should be positioned above the camera, 12–14 feet from the ground, and facing a southerly
direction. Use the Shoulder Strap to keep your hands free when ascending a ladder.
Prerequisites:
Ensure the Solar Panel batteries are fully charged.
Obtain the following from the Solar Panel kits for each Solar Panel being mounted:
● Solar Panel
● Solar Panel Mounting Bracket
● Hex Bolts (2x)
● Hex Key Tool
● Metal Band Straps (2x)
If mounting on a pole, also obtain:
● Wire Snips
● Zip-Tie (1x)
If mounting on a flat surface, also obtain:
● Lag Bolts (2x)
● Power Drill
