15. Troubleshooting
15.1. Error messages
The sauna control unit is equipped with diagnostic software which monitors system
statuses when it is switched on and during operation. As soon as the diagnostic
software identifies an error, the sauna control unit switches off the sauna heater.
Errors are indicated by a recurring warning tone and by flashing of the function
selector 2 and the intensity selector 3. Furthermore, the text "Err" appears in
the additional display 1. The error number is shown in the intensity display 4.
Switch the sauna control unit off using the ON/OFF switch 6 and rectify the
error before switching the sauna control unit on again.
The following table describes the possible faults and their causes. If necessary,
quote the error number to your customer service specialist.

Description
Cause/remedy
An object has been placed on the sau-
na heater. Remove any objects before
starting up the sauna heater again.
If no safety shut-off is fitted, note point
5.10. on page 21.
The maximum temperature of 139 °C
has been exceeded above the heater.
Defective heater sensor, poor contact,
or short circuit.
Defective foil sensor, poor contact, or
short circuit.
Defective bench sensor, poor contact,
or short circuit.
Defective humidity sensor, poor contact,
or short circuit
The maximum foil temperature of 100°C
was exceeded.
The sauna control unit is equipped with
a door sensor. Close the door or check
the connections and settings.
