OPERATIONS IN PERIODS OF TRANSITION
During periods of transition when outside temperatures are higher, in the event of a sudden rise in
temperature, it may happen that the combustion gases inside the flue cannot be completely drawn
in.
The exhaust gases are not coming out completely (intense smell of gas). In this case, shake the
grate more frequently and increase the air for combustion. Then load a reduced quantity of fuel to
allow rapid combustion (rising flames) and stabilization of the draught. If in doubt, DO NOT use
the product.
MAINTENANCE AND CARE
Check and clean the outside air intake at least once a year. The chimney sweep should sweep the
chimney regularly. Let your local chimney sweep check that the appliance is installed regularly,
that it is connected to the chimney and that it is properly ventilated.
IMPORTANT: SERVICING MUST ONLY BE CARRIED OUT WITH A COLD APPLIANCE.
Only use spare parts approved and supplied by Sannover.
