A - Smoke control (Photo 9)
(Converting the cooker function to cooker, oven and heating function).
The smoke control is located on the top right-hand plate of the cooker, between the top table and
the cooking door. This control has two parameters:
OVEN COOKING: when the bar is pushed towards the back of the cooker, the combustion gases
flow around the oven and directly into the flue and up the chimney.
COOKING ON THE TABLE: when the control bar is removed, the combustion gases circulate
around the oven and heat it up.
To light the flame, follow the instructions below:
Move the smoke control to the removed control bar.
After lighting the fire with small pieces of wood and waiting for it to get going.
Move the smoke control to the pulled control bar.
The control regulation during the ignition phase is as follows:

Essential conditions for correct operation of the appliance :
The internal cross-section should preferably be circular.
The appliance must be thermally insulated and impermeable, and constructed using
suitable materials that are resistant to heat, combustion products and condensation.
There must be no narrowing and vertical passages with deviations must not exceed 45°.
If it has already been used, it must be clean.
All sections of the flue must be accessible for inspection.
Inspection openings must be provided for cleaning.
The technical data in the instruction manual must be observed.
If the ducts are square or rectangular in cross-section, the inside edges must be rounded with a
radius of at least 20 mm. For rectangular sections, the maximum ratio between the sides must be
≤1,5.
If the cross-section is too small, the draught will be reduced. A minimum height of 4 m is
recommended.
The following materials are NOT allowed and compromise the correct operation of the appliance:
asbestos cement, galvanized steel, rough and porous internal surfaces. Image 1 shows some
examples of solutions.
