it has been dropped by an operator.
• to use a Tractel® fall arrest anchorage device
as an anchorage device for a load lifting device.
• to use this equipment in a highly corrosive or
explosive atmosphere,
• to use a Tractel® fall arrest anchorage device
for any application other than that described in
this manual.
• to use this Tractel® equipment if you are not in
good physical condition,
• to use this Tractel® equipment if you are preg-
nant,
• to use this Tractel® equipment if the safety
function of any of the associated items is affect-
ed by the safety function of another item or may
interfere with it,
• to use this Tractel® equipment to secure a ma-
terial's load,
• to moor a fall arrest system with a maximum
dynamic load greater than 6 kN or assumed to
be greater than 6 kN to a Tractel® fall arrest an-
chorage system.
• to carry out repair or maintenance operations
on this equipment without having been trained
and authorised, in writing, by Tractel®.
• to install a Tractel® fall arrest anchorage de-
vice on a structure whose mechanical breaking
strength is less than 13 kN or assumed to be
less than 13 kN.

• to use a Tractel® fall arrest anchorage de-
vice outside the temperature range of -35°C to
+60°C.
• to use a Tractel® fall arrest anchorage system
if the space underneath the anchorage system

fall arrest system or if an obstacle is located on

• to use a Tractel® fall arrest anchorage system
if a rescue plan has not been put in place before-
hand in the event of the operator falling.
• install a Tractel® fall arrest anchor under the
operator's displacement plan.

number or tightening torque would not comply
with the specifications in this manual.
• to connect to this equipment by any means oth-

The tracrod 150kg anchor rod must only
be used with the tracrod 150kg anchor base. All
other associations are dangerous and prohibit-
ed.

8. Maintenance and storage
If the Tractel® anchoring device is dirty, it should
be washed in clear, cold water with a mild deter-
gent if necessary, using a synthetic brush.
During transport and storage, protect the equip-
ment from any risk of damage (sharp edges, di-
rect heat source, chemicals, UV, etc.).
