FUEL FILTER OR SCREEN
ATTENTION: Some machines may be equipped with fuel filters already installed in the fuel
filler opening of the tank. If the fuel filter no longer performs its function, replace it.
Inspection and cleaning of the fuel filter or strainer
Inspect for dirt, debris, etc. in the fuel filter. Clean or replace the fuel filter as necessary.
To clean the fuel filter:
1.
Clean the filter with a clean solvent.
2.
If possible, use compressed air to make clearing any blockages easier.

TO REMOVE OR INSTALL FUEL FILTER OR SCREEN
To remove the fuel filter::
1.
Place the machine horizontally on a flat, level surface with the fuel filler cap facing up.
2.
Remove the fuel tank cap by turning it counterclockwise.
3.
Pull the filter from the tank fill opening.
To replace the filter:
1.
Place the fuel filter into the fuel tank filler hole. If other parts are used, make sure
everything is installed correctly.
2.
Replace the fuel tank cap.
