OPERATION
START-UP
ENGINE STARTING
At initial start-up, the oil (SAE10W30 or SAE10W40) and fuel level engine
continues to idle must be topped up.
Cold start
1.
Place the choke lever (20) in the "Choke" position.
2.
Place the on/off switch (11) in the "I/ON" position.
3.
Open the fuel valve (19).
4.
Start the engine with the starter cable (18). To do this, pull hard
on the handle. If the engine does not start, pull the handle again.
5.
After starting the engine, let the machine run for a few seconds and
then set the choke lever (20) to "Run."
Hot start
1.
Place the choke lever (20) in the "Run" position.
2.
Place the on/off switch (11) in the "I/ON" position.
3.
Start the engine with the starter cable (18). To do this, pull hard on
the handle.
USE
Please note that once the motor is running, the pumping action of the
machine is activated. When the engine is at idle (slowest continuous
operating speed), the outlet water pressure is minimal. As engine speed
increases (use engine throttle control), water pressure increases. Keep the
following recommendations in mind:
•
Operate the engine at a speed sufficient to provide the desired outlet
pressure.
•
Use the correct nozzle for the job you want to do. Nozzles that
concentrate the water jet in a small area. They can puncture and
damage the materials of some surfaces.
•
Before starting work, pressure clean a small test area to ensure the
surface will not be damaged and the machine will clean the surface
adequately.
•
Completely uncoil the high pressure hose(s) before use the machine.
•
Use a sweeping and overlapping motion to help ensure effective
cleaning and total surface coverage. When cleaning with detergents,
always rinse the residue afterwards.
STEP BY STEP
1.
Assemble high pressure hoses, lance and accessories as required by
the configuration.
2.
Attach a nozzle to the end of the lance extension.
3.
Connect the high pressure hose to the outlet pump connector.
4.
Connect the machine to the water supply and turn on the water
supply.
5.
Squeeze the trigger on the lance and allow the air to be evacuated
from the hose and pump with the pressure of the water supply. The
water should flow freely.
6.
After starting the engine, turn the trigger lock (24) on the manual spray
gun (23).
7.
Hold the manual spray gun (23) in a safe direction and squeeze the
trigger (25). This cleans the pump system of air and impurities.
STOP THE ENGINE
1.
Allow the device to run for a short period of time without charging
before turning it off to "cool down."
2.
Place the on/off switch (11) in the "O/OFF" position. Close the
fuel valve (19).
AFTER TURN OFF THE ENGINE
1.
Connect the water supply.
2.
Pull the trigger (25) until the device is depressurized.
INTERRUPTION OF OPERATION
Release the trigger (25) of the manual spray gun (23).
Note: When you release the trigger (25) on the manual spray gun (23), the
engine continues to idle.
•
Turn off the engine during longer interruptions (several minutes)
•
Pull the trigger (25) until the device is depressurized.
•
Secure the manual spray gun (23) with the trigger lock (24) against
unintentional opening. (24) contra una apertura involuntaria.
73
FINISHING WORK
1.
Turn off the engine when finishing work
2.
Turn off the water supply to the high-pressure cleaner.
3.
Pull the trigger (25) until the device is depressurized.
4.
Secure the manual spray gun (23) with the trigger lock (24)
against unintentional opening.
5.
Unscrew the water supply hose from the device.
