9.3.4 RCX specifications
RCX models are made with 250 mm diameter electric fans and copper tubes. The shoulders, the fins and the housing are made of
aluminium. The screws, the washers and the nuts are made of stainless steel.
The entire range is supplied with standard electronic EC fans (identified by the letter "B") and vane with special profile to combine
efficiency and lower consumption.
The main features of the INCOMPLETE-MACHINE can be found in Chapter 8 of this user's manual.
9.3.5 Warnings related to refrigerant R744 residual risks
NOTE:
As for the refrigerant R744, the dangers linked to it are due to its physical-chemical characteristics and working conditions of the fluid,
expressed as pressure and temperature.
The characteristics of refrigerant R744 are listed in Section 9.3.1 – Characteristics of refrigerant R744.
9.3.6 Coolant R744 safety labels
To the INCOMPLETE MACHINE are affixed the safety labels specified in Table 2 chapter 3.4. Signs concerning Safety in Chapter 3 -
Safety and technical data.
9.3.7 Proper and improper use of the incomplete machine for coolant R744
NOTE:
Concerning the proper and improper use of the coolant R744, refer to the following.
DANGER :
The INCOMPLETE-MACHINE must be put into operation only with refrigerant R744 and must not be modified without prior consent of
the manufacturer, in terms of operating parameters (pressure and temperature) as well as technical and structural characteristics of
the partly completed machinery. This is because the components and materials of the partly completed machinery, in addition to its
design features, have been chosen to ensure the smooth functioning of the same.
Unauthorized changes may cause damage like cracks and breaks while compromising the tightness, operation and shutdown of the
partly completed machinery, leading to a sudden and massive release of working fluid with direct or indirect damages to persons,
property and the environment.
NOTE:
The PARTLY COMPLETED MACHINE must not be used:
where there are hazards to the life and health of the employees caused by the effects of short and long exposure to the
refrigerant R744
where there is a possibility of a sudden and massive release (release and evaporation) of most of the amount of working fluid in
a short time (i.e. less than 5 minutes),
where there is a possibility that the maximum period in which people may be exposed to a massive release of refrigerant CO2
(see section 9.3.2 dangers relating to refrigerant R744), if the concentration of refrigerant exceeds 5000 ppm (MAK value) and if
the number of emergency exits clearly marked are insufficient for the number of persons usually present.
9.3.8 Technical data and features of the incomplete machine for coolant R744
For the identification of the INCOMPLETE MACHINE refer to the instructions in Section 3.7 – Technical data and features of the
incomplete machine Section 3.8 Technical data in Chapter 3 - Safety and technical data.
9.3.9 Transport and installation of the incomplete machine for coolant R744
For the transport and installation of the INCOMPLETE MACHINE refer to the instructions in Chapter 4 – Transport and installation and
to what is listed below:
Comply with the requirements of EN 378-3 regarding refrigerant, total net weight and cold transfer system.
in order to avoid any dangerous conditions for persons or damage to the INCOMPLETE-MACHINE caused
by residual risks, the manufacturer recommends you follow the instructions already reported in section 3.3 –
Warnings on residual risks in Chapter 3 – Safety and technical data and the instructions in the following
pages.
in order to avoid any dangerous conditions for persons or damage to the INCOMPLETE MACHINE caused
by proper and improper use, the manufacturer recommends you follow the rules already reported in section
3.5 – Proper and improper use of the incomplete machine in Chapter 3 – Safety And Technical Data
refrigerant R744 can cause serious damage to health and the environment
the list of possible dangers is given in Section 9.3.1 Characteristics of refrigerant R744
