Install the device in accordance with EN 378-1 only in the configuration provided and only in an area to which the appliance is
suitable, as indicated by the manufacturer.
Install the device in such a manner that the MAK value – 5000 ppm – will not be exceeded as intermediate level 8h. The
maximum permitted concentration is 10.000 ppm (momentary value) 4 times per round, with minimum stop intervals of 60min.
Place the refrigerant CO2 detectors and alarm systems for warning before reaching CO2 concentration dangerous to health and
for control purposes in the installation compartment of the equipment, pursuant to EN 378-3; chapter 7.
Make sure that the device is not exposed in the installation place at high, non-conform temperatures Effectively protect the device
against temporary heat or high temperatures.

DANGER :
Be careful when connecting:
The appliance must be lockable in the event of leak. All devices that divert the operating fluid released must be operated from a
safe point.
Electrical systems, such as those that drive the fan or the heaters, in the case of electric defrost, for ventilation, lighting and for
alarm system must be made considering the condensate generated due to moisture and dripping water, according to EN 378-3;
Chapter 6.
When connecting the fluid and suction tubes, it is essential to protect the expansion valve, including its overheat sensor, from
excessive heat load caused by the brazing procedure!
Attention in case of brazing:
° powerful brazing for all connections!
° Avoid connections with the brazing point; make socket junctions
° Avoid unsealed points by performing state-of-the-art brazing!
° Prevent overheating during brazing (danger of excessive swarf formation)!
° Use protective gas during brazing (avoid swarf)!
Attention! Minimum value of water allowed in a CO2 refrigeration system! Ensure that the drying of the appliance corresponds to
the minimum water value allowed in a CO2 refrigeration system! Use CO2 for refrigeration
Refrigerant line connection
RCX models are characterized by copper pipes. The inlet tube is supplied closed while the output tube has a load Schrader valve fitted
on the end (Figure 13). Before welding, ensure that the battery is not pressurized by operating the load valve, then cut both the input
and output ends and eliminate internal and external burrs.

when connecting the piping, be careful not to force or modify the position of the collector, because this
could lead to breakages.
Before brazing ensure that the battery is not pressurized.
