Truma Combi G comfort / comfort plus
Mixed mode (combined gasoline and electric mode)
•
for the most energy efficient use of the furnace (only
Truma Combi G comfort plus)
Use boost mode for maximum power in electric and in
mixed mode
4.1
Heating and hot water mode
All 3 energy options of the furnace can be used (electric
and mixed mode only Truma Combi G comfort plus):
In heating and hot water mode, the device automati-
•
cally selects the necessary operating level
In electric mode , power level EL1 and EL2 can be
•
selected manually Please observe fuse protection
at the campsite in accordance with the power level:
8 A for level EL1 or 15 A for level EL2
If more power is required (eg for heating up or at
•
low outside temperatures), select gasoline or mixed
mode so that sufficient heating power is always
available
In mixed mode, 120 V AC electric mode is preferred
•
if the power requirement is low (eg for maintaining
the room temperature) The gasoline burner only
switches on when more power is required
If no 120 V AC line power is available in mixed
•
mode, the control panel issues a warning and
switches over to fuel mode
4.2
Hot water mode
Fuel ( Truma Combi G comfort / comfort plus) or electric
mode (only Truma Combi G comfort plus) can be used
to heat up water
Always make sure that the water tank is filled if the
device is used in hot water mode
In hot summer ambient temperatures, preferably use
the electric mode
If 120 V AC power supply is available, preferably use
the electric mode
Mixed mode cannot be used to heat water If mixed
mode is selected, the device automatically selects
electric mode The gasoline burner is not switched
on
Depending on the installed control panel, the tempera-
ture can be set to ECO (104 °F / 40 °C), Hot (140 °F /
60 °C) or Boost (158 °F / 70 °C) If there is a high de-
mand for hot water, the water temperature can be set
higher to increase the amount of hot water available
In electric mode, 850W (71A) or 1700W (142A) power
can be selected manually in accordance with the fuse
protection of the line power connection
