2.6 Safe operation
DANGER
Risk of fire or explosion due to operation in
potentially explosive area
Do not use the device while refueling
Do not close or cover forced ventilation in the ve-
hicle� When the device is started up, there may be
some smoke and/or smell outside the vehicle at the
exhaust due to dust or dirt� Especially if it has not
been used for a long time�
The device may be used by children over 14 years
old, and by people with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowl-
edge if they are supervised or have been instruct-
ed in the safe use of the device and the resulting
hazards� Children must not be allowed to play with
the device�
To prevent damage to the device from spray water,
such as when cleaning the vehicle, do not spray wa-
ter directly into the wall cowl� Likewise, do not spray
onto the pump or the feedthrough into the interior�
2.7 Troubleshooting
If you notice strange noises or smells, switch the
furnace off�

Risk of fire or explosion due to damaged
device
Danger of fire / explosion if you attempt to use a
device that has been damaged by flooding or if
the vehicle has been involved in an accident�
An expert must inspect the device and
replace parts that have been damaged by
moisture�
The damaged device must be replaced with a
new one if necessary�
The device must be repaired only by an expert� Have
faults repaired without delay�
Rectify only the faults described in Section
"6 Troubleshooting guide" on page 11 yourself�
After an extended standstill period, several start
attempts may be necessary until the fuel line is com-
pletely filled again� After an aborted start attempt,
acknowledge the error message (error code 560) on
the control panel, then make a new start attempt�
If a different error code occurs, please refer to "6
Troubleshooting guide" on page 11�
 The device is locked after the fifth acknowledgement
of the error message� Please contact Truma service�
If the device misfires during normal operation, have
an expert check the device, the exhaust gas system
and the fuel supply system�

3 Intended Use
3.1 Intended use
The Combi G furnace is a warm-air furnace with inte-
grated water container (2�6 Gal� (10 litre) volume)�
This device was designed for the use in motor homes
and caravans�
The furnace must not be used while the vehicle is in
motion�
It can be controlled using:
Truma CP plus (referred to below as CP plus)
•
Truma CP plus CI bus
•
To ensure a reliable system function, only use the fur-
nace up to an ambient temperature of 86 °F (30 °C)�
Performance of the unit might decrease at higher alti-
tudes, depending on air pressure and ambient tempera-
ture�
3.2 Prohibited use
All other uses not listed under proper use are improper
and therefore prohibited� This applies e�g� to installation
and operation in:
Motor buses,
•
Commercial vehicles,
•
Boats and other water vessels,
•
Hunting / forest huts, weekend homes or awnings,
•
In trailers or vehicles used to transport dangerous
•
goods�
It is prohibited to heat liquids other than drinking water
(e�g� cleaning, descaling, disinfection and preserving
agents)�
Units that are defective, incorrectly installed or used,
or units used contrary to their recommended purpose
must not be used�
