GENERAL INFORMATION

This motor pump is designed for domestic use, it should not be used for other purposes.
•
Read the instructions carefully and familiarize yourself with the controls and the proper use of the device.

The following information on hazards and precautions includes the most likely situations that may arise during
the use of this machine. Consult all documentation, packaging and product labels before using it.

If you encounter a situation not described in this manual, use common sense to use the machine as safely as
possible and, if you see danger, do not use the machine.
•
Read carefully the instructions for safe operation of the machine.
•
This device is not designed for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
abilities, or with lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have received supervision or instructions on
the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
•
Children should be monitored to ensure that they do not play with the device.
•
It pumps only water that is not intended for human consumption. Pumping flammable liquids, seawater,
beverages, acids, chemical solutions or any other liquid that promotes corrosion can damage the pump, cause
fire or explosion and cause serious injury. Still, if the pump is used to pump any liquid that promotes corrosion,
it pumps fresh water right after to reduce signs of corrosion and make sure debris and sediment have been
removed.
SERVICE
Good maintenance is essential for safe, economical and trouble-free operation. It will also help reduce air pollution.
Have the machine checked periodically by a qualified technician using only original spare parts. Before any questions
contact the Official Technical Service.
SAFETY IN MAINTENANCE, TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
Some of the most important safety precautions are the following: However, we cannot warn you about all the
imaginable dangers that may arise when performing maintenance. Only you decide whether you have to perform
a certain task or not.
Make sure the engine is off before you start any maintenance, repair or storage. This will eliminate several
potential hazards:

Carbon monoxide poisoning from engine exhaust.
•
Make sure there is adequate ventilation every time the engine is operated.
•
Burns from hot spots.
Read the instructions before you start and make sure you have the necessary tools and skills.
•
Use this motor pump according to these instructions and in the manner planned, taking into account the
working conditions and the activity to be carried out.
•
Check regularly that there are no broken parts or other conditions that may affect the correct operation of the
machine.
•
Immediately replace worn or damaged parts with original spare parts only.
•
Perform regular maintenance of the machine.
•
Do not attempt any maintenance or repair work that is not described in this instruction manual. We
recommend that maintenance and repairs not described in this manual be performed by the Official Technical
Service.
•
When finishing the job, always clean the dust and dirt of the machine only with non-flammable solvent (not
gasoline), never with solvents, flammable liquids or hard abrasives.
•
To avoid burns or fire hazards, let the equipment cool completely before cleaning, transporting or storing.
•
Keep machine grips clean and dry.
•
Store equipment out of reach of children.
•
Make sure the machine is properly secured to prevent tipping or damage during transport or storage.
•
The equipment is not weather resistant, and should not be stored in direct sunlight, at high ambient
temperatures or in wet or humid places.
•
Remember that the machine operator is responsible for hazards and accidents caused to other people
or things. The manufacturer shall under no circumstances be liable for damage caused by improper or
improper use of this machinery.
•
To reduce the possibility of fire or explosion, be careful when working near gasoline. Keep cigarettes,
sparks, and flames away from all fuel-related parts.
•
Remember that your dealer knows the product best and is fully equipped to maintain and repair it.
•
To ensure the best quality and reliability, use only new parts or their equivalents for repair and replacement.
