Based on crash statistics, the US National
Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) recommends
that parents select the REAR SEAT as the safest location for
a properly installed child restraint rather than a front seating
position.

seating location allowed by the vehicle manufacturer. Refer to
your vehicle Owner's Manual
for information about vehicle
seat belt systems, air bags, and child restraint installation to
determine allowable seating positions.
