7 Before Starting Work
► Never store the pressure washer with the
plug of the power supply cord connected to
an electrical outlet.
► Store the pressure washer indoors in a dry,
secure place that cannot be accessed by
children or other unauthorized users.
► Drain the detergent spray set or
secure it so that it cannot topple over
or spill.
► Do not allow the unit to be used or
stored in freezing temperatures.
► If the pressure washer must be
transported or stored in freezing con‐
ditions, the pump must be filled with
antifreeze to prevent cracking due to
water expansion,

7.1
Preparing the Pressure Washer
for Operation
Before starting work:
► Clean the water filter, if necessary,
► Place the pressure washer on flat and firm
ground or other solid surface in an open area.
► Connect the high-pressure hose,
► Connect the spray gun and lance,
► Insert the spray nozzle,
► If desired, add detergent,
► Connect the water supply,
► Connect the power supply cord to a properly
installed electrical outlet that matches the volt‐
age and electrical frequency stated on the
pressure washer's rating plate.

WARNING
■ To reduce the risk of severe injury from high-
pressure spray, always switch off the pressure
washer, shut off the water supply, relieve any
remaining pressure in the system and lock the
spray gun trigger before attempting to assem‐
ble the pressure washer or spray attachment.
