Defining GBC Momentary Button
Momentary button C (select LA/Eb)
In System Mode (Set-up Mode) it is possible to define
the function of momentary button "C", which can be
operated conveniently by the thumb. There are three
alternative basic functions which the operator can select

GBC "LA" = Lap timer / Lap counter
The momentary button "C" now works automatically.
"LAP" flashes on the screen when the LAP timer is
running. The transmitter automatically stores the lap
times (3 - 99.9 s). Pressing the MODE button repeatedly
brings up the LAP menu (lap counter menu) on the
screen (LAP flashes). The top row displays the lap time
in tenths of a second; the bottom row displays the lap
number.
The LAP timer is stopped by pressing the INC+ and
DEC- buttons simultaneously (CLEAR); it stops
automatically after 50 laps. The individual lap times (max.
50) can then be called up and read out using the INC+
or DEC- buttons.
Erasing lap times: With the lap timer stopped, press the
buttons INC+ and DEC- (CLEAR) simultaneously in the
LAP menu to erase all the recorded lap times.
If you re-start the lap counter without erasing previously
recorded times, a minus (-) prefix is added to the earlier
(non-erased) laps.
Note:
If the lap time range of 3 - 99.9 seconds is exceeded,
the screen displays OVR (over-run). The barrier time
between laps is 3 seconds. Lap times shorter than this
are not accepted.
