Durch

Bandende
in die andere Laufrich-

Recording with »ALC«
The ALC
automatic
level control
picks up a measured value at the
loudest program point and stores
this value
briefly. Hence,
micro-
phone recording must start within
3 sec., and radio/phono recording
within 30 sec.

Reverse Mode
The CR 1600 is fitted with a 4/4
track sound and two capstan dri-
ves. This permits
recording
and
playback in both directions (nor-
mal or reverse
start). Automatic
change-over to the opposite di-
rection of travel at tape end ena-
bles the unit to operate in an end-
less mode.
»Reverse*
mode
is adjusted with
the slide switch ®:
Left position = permanent
rever-
se,
mid-position = normal reverse.
Note: Since the tape is travelling
in the opposite direction, the for-
ward
key »P becomes
reverse,
and the reverse key ¢4 becomes
forward.
