Operation
Never operate the device without oil and check the MIN / MAX filling quan-
tity.
∙ The oil level, including food, must never exceed the MAX mark.
∙ Connect the cable.
∙ Set the desired temperature between 80 and 190 ° C with the help of the tempera-
ture regulator.
∙ The control lamp shows that the device is heating up.
∙ When the temperature is reached, the light switches off.
∙ The basket with the food can now be placed in the deep fryer.
∙ Set the temperature control back to OFF after deep-frying.
Important note on the use of hard fat (e.g. coconut fat):
∙ Cut the fat into small pieces and put it in the container. Do not put in the basket!
Set the thermostat to the melting setting
∙ If the fat has hardened after use in the deep fryer, it must also be melted again on
the melting setting.
∙ As soon as the fat has melted, the desired frying temperature can be set.
Monitoring the deep fat frying procedure
The frying procedure can be monitored through the inspection window in the lid.
Lifting the basket a little may give you a better view.
When the food is cooked
∙ Open lid.
∙ Caution - lid may be hot!
∙ Lift frying basket and hook onto edge of pan.
∙ Once the fat has drained, remove frying basket and empty. Do not season the food
over the fryer - this will protect the fat and the fryer.
∙ If no more frying is being carried out, turn down the temperature and disconnect
plug from power supply.
